Romney Hall

The round-arched hall is famous for its semi-circular shape. It is also known as the “Romney Hall” – named after one of the original manufacturers. Other original manufacturers are Nissen and Quonset (or Quinset). The unique shape ensures extreme stability despite the lightweight construction. Over the years, we have further developed the Romney round arch hall in accordance with current regulations.

Thanks to an intelligent design, free canopies from 5 to 21.5 meters are possible. The hall is available in 10 standard sizes with different ridge heights and various doors and gates.

The Romney halls can also be designed as multi-aisle halls, with a central column between the aisles. Please contact us.

Particularly strong: the round shape is characteristic of this type of hall and enables a relatively light construction. This makes this hall suitable for high snow loads.

Proven concept: The concept dates back to the First World War. At that time, the hall was designed to provide simple accommodation. The quick assembly and dismantling ensured worldwide demand.

Self-assembly possible: HPS prefabricated halls consist of just a few parts – for particularly easy assembly.

Ideal for export: thanks to many identical parts, a steel hall measuring up to 600 m2 can be transported in a 20 ft container.

Cost-effectiveness: In terms of price, our round arch hall is the most cost-effective choice thanks to its lightweight construction.
